  • Gained knowledge of common hematology and oncology diagnoses, including leukemia, lymphoma, and sickle cell disease, and their treatment plans such as chemotherapy, radiation, and stem cell transplants

  • Acquired experience in monitoring and coordinating care for oncology and hematology patients across various units, including the PICU, inpatient unit, and outpatient clinic

  • Directly shadowed a CCLS in a camp setting for children and adults with identified needs
