Internship Case Study

During my internship at Children’s Hospital Colorado, I completed a comprehensive case study that involved assessing a patient's developmental level, psychosocial stressors, and potential coping risks. Based on this assessment, I developed and implemented individualized Child Life interventions to support the patient’s emotional and developmental needs. Due to the early discharge of my initial patient, I applied this process to two separate patients, allowing me to demonstrate adaptability and further strengthen my clinical reasoning and intervention planning skills across diverse patient experiences.
