Crohn’s Disease Education Guide

During my rotation on the inpatient unit, which primarily served patients with gastrointestinal conditions, I identified a gap in patient education resources—specifically, the absence of materials tailored to individuals with Crohn’s disease. To address this need, I developed an educational resource using materials from the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. The resource included developmentally appropriate explanations, interactive activities to promote understanding, and evidence-based coping strategies to support patients in managing their condition.
